Come Home to Galion is the community's annual seasonal celebration. From a parade to special sales; from displays to music; from open houses to an old-fashioned Community Christmas Tree lighting with carol singing.

Doors open at 5:30pm with dinner being served at 6. Dinner of stuffed chicken breast and roast beef will be catered by Katering Kountry Style. The evening will consist of a live auction, chinese auction (must be present to win) a few new special sales, DJ and dancing.

Your job, if you choose to accept it, is to help detectives determine who murdered the caretaker, with what weapon, and in what room the murder took place. It is a "live" version of the Clue board game you might have played years ago and it is FUN! Lights on, you will meet the suspects. Lights off, you will attempt to solve the crime. Connections weekend is a celebration of Galion, a learning experience for Galion students, and a way to meet and reconnect with friends and family in Galion! The Galion City Schools, the Galion Alumni Association, the Galion Community Education Foundation, The Galion Tiger Alumni Band and the Galion Community Foundation have joined together for Connections weekend.

This annual event brings tens of thousands of visitors to the streets of Uptowne Galion. As in year's past, the 2017 edition will feature rides, games, food, and outstanding musical acts scattered throughout the streets of Galion's central business district. More information will be shared here when available, including a schedule of performances.
Brush and Palette Art Gallery is having an "open" show Sept. 28th through Sept. 30 titled "Hometown Memories." All area artists have been invited to participate. 2-D and 3-D art works will be featured in a variety of mediums. All works are family friendly in theme and most will be for sale. Kids ages 8-12 are invited to join us on the 4th Tuesday of every month for Science Geeks! Each month we will be exploring science or technology with fun hands-on activities!
